This album was recorded at a live improvised concert with Daniel Berkman and Steve Lawson in Point Arena, California on April 23, 2023.

The venue was a beautiful former church that had been converted into a community center.

Susan Schaefer Bernardo and Kevin Polk have hosted several house concerts for us over the years. This event came together through their grace and generosity, spontaneously at a moment's notice.

This was the first time the trio had played together in over eight years. It was a sweet Sunday afternoon reunion by the sea.
